 My third Destination.πŸ“πŸ˜‡

 Hello guys...πŸ˜ƒ

So, lets here about my third destination ..πŸ˜‰

The third place i visited was   NAHARGARH FORT.
NAHARGARH FORT

Nahargarh fort is a km away from Jaigarh fort, is located on the oldest mountain ranges of the world, the Aravalli hills.

Nahargarh fort along with other two forts (i.e.  Amer fort and Jaigarh fort), once formed a strong defence for Jaipur city.

And our guide told us that the  fort  was originally name Sudarshangarh but later it was changed to Nahargarh which means “abode of tigers”. He also told us that it was a popular belief that Nahar which is Nahar Singh Bhomia(Rathore prince), whose sprit haunted this place and obstructed the construction of this fort and Nahar’s  spirit was pacified by building a temple within the fort ,which thus became know by his name.

This fort’s scenic surroundings are breathtaking.

This fort has many structures in it. On the left of the entrance gate there is a temple which is dedicated to all Jaipur rulers and  one another temple inside fort which was dedicated to Rathore prince, Nahar Singh Bhomia.
There is also one beautiful part of this fort, which is a two story building which was built by Sawai Madho Singh, known as “Madhavendra Bhawan”. It has suites for the king and his twelve queens.
MADHAVENDRA BHAWAN

It is divided into nine similar apartments and each apartment has its own lobby, bedrooms, toilets, kitchen and store.

And one more structure , which is known as “Diwan-e-aam” , where the king met common people and listened to their problems and complaints.
There is a food court and a restaurant too at the top of the fort with an amazing view.

This fort is worth of being explored.😍😍

Thank you.😊😊
