So, this one is about my second destination in Jaipur i.e. 

 JAIGARH FORT.

JAIGARH FORT

JAIGARH FORT is also in Amer city and and is near Amer fort. This fort was built by Jai Singh II in 1726. Basically, this fort was built to protect Amer fort and Jaipur city from warlords and rivals.

This fort is located on “ Cheel ka Teela” hills and have a whole panoramic and beautiful view of Jaipur city.

Also, our guide told us that this fort is connected to Amer fort through secret passages. He also told us that this fort was never conquered in battles and was strongest among other three forts in Jaipur.

And the one most important part of this fort which makes it famous is “WORLD’S LARGEST CANNON ON WHEELS”  which is called THE JAIVANA CANNON which was only used once for testing and is never used after it.

 The fort is quite similar to Amer fort in aspect of its architecture and also Jaigarh fort was renowned for a huge treasure that was believed to be buried under the fort.

On, the whole this fort will give you a close view of India’s battles history and the one who are interested in history and architecture should must visit this fort.

It was an amazing and great experience to witness such beauty of Indian history.
